I know, I know, with the start of school and the end of summer, you just haven’t gotten around to thinking about the OSTA Fall Conference.
NOW IS THE TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT IT!
First, click the Conference tab at the top of this page and register for the conference. Early-Bird registration ends in 4 weeks and you save $10 by registering now. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included in the fee as well as complimentary OSTA membership for 2011. Pay by credit card or select “pay by check” and send in a printout of your completed registration along with your check or school purchase order. It’s that easy.
Second, DOWNLOAD THE PROPOSAL TO PRESENT. As a teacher-leader in Oklahoma you’ve got something to share and the OSTA Fall Conference is the best place to do that sharing.
Look, staff development funds are non-existent this year and Title-II is increasingly devoted exclusively to math and reading. Where else will you or your colleagues get science professional development? The OSTA Fall Conference is the biggest and best game in the state this year!
DON’T PUT IT OFF!
TODAY, as soon as classes end or your planning period starts, click the registration link and take 5 minutes to register. Then click the program proposal link and print the form. Then send it in to Dr. Allen at UCO so she can finish building the program. We need at least 50 proposals aimed at grades k-16 to make sure there is something for everyone. The program titles will be published here in Mid-October.
