Astronaut Barbara Morgan to Speak at OSU

Barbara Morgan is a NASA Astronaut and career educator who has logged over 305 hours in space. In August 2007, Morgan served as a mission specialist for the Space Shuttle Endeavour STS-118 crew that was charged with the task of continuing to assemble the International Space Station. With Morgan on board, this mission marked the first flight of an Educator Astronaut.

She is a former employee of Oklahoma State University through NASA’s Education Division, Office of Human Resources and Education. An Educator Astronaut is a fully qualified astronaut who brings expertise in K-12 education and helps lead NASA in the development of new ways to connect space exploration with the classroom.  Find the program flier here.
